Abstract

Fossil algal material from the Upper Cambrian Dagger Flat Formation in Brewster County, Tex., was collected by F. S. Anan and studied by J. H. Johnson. It is described as the new species Nuia texana, and is closely allied to N. mariae (Korde) and N. sibirica Maslov, both from Lower Ordovician or Upper Cambrian rocks of Siberia.
