Abstract

About 7000 conodont specimens were collected for study from road cuts exposing a nearly continuous section from the Cambrian Gros Ventre Formation, through the Gallatin Limestone, Ordovician Bighorn Dolomite, and the Mississippian Madison Limestone to the Pennsylvanian Amsden Formation. Lithologic divisions yielding conodonts are specified and representative genera they contain are named.
