Amanda Ashworth received a B.A. and M.S. from the University of Arkansas (2008 and 2010, respectively) and a Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee in 2015. She is a soil scientist at the USDA-Agricultural Research Service (ARS)'s Poultry Production and Product Safety Unit in Fayetteville, AR. Her research focuses on addressing environmental issues arising from animal agriculture through developing best management practices that reduce non-point source pollution at the soil, water, plant, and animal nexus.
