Jungkyun Shin received a Bachelor degree of energy resource engineering (2011) and a Ph.D. of geophysical exploration (2015) in Seoul National University. He is currently working as a senior researcher in the Exploration system R&D department at the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources. He once worked in the fields of 3D full waveform inversion, 3D seismic migration, and supercomputing for seismic data processing. Currently, his main research area is ultra-high-resolution seismic data acquisition and processing.
