Christopher Conaway is a geoscientist with the U.S. Geological Survey at Menlo Park, California. He has a B.A. in English and a M.S. degree in Geological Science from the Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from University of California Santa Cruz. His research has focused on a variety of topics including environmental chemistry of mercury, environmental applications of isotopic and radiogeochemical tracers, and permafrost thaw in Interior Alaska.
