Ji Yanju received the Ph.D. degree from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2004. She is currently a professor in the College of Instrumentation & Electrical Engineering, Jilin University. Her research interests are transient electromagnetic theory and exploration applications. She has more than 30 publications about transient electromagnetic theory and methods. In 2010, she acquired a second award of China National Technology Invention, which is about the double wave field imaging of the groundwater combining nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) with transient electromagnetic method.
