Jeramy C. Ashlock is an Assistant Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at Iowa State University. He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. (2006) degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. His research focuses on surface wave methods for soils and pavements, dynamic soil-structure interaction, computational mechanics, nondestructive evaluation methods for pavements and bridge decks, drilled shaft and pile foundations, stabilization of granular-surfaced roadways, and development of methods and instrumentation for in situ and laboratory measurement of soil properties. He teaches courses in geotechnical engineering, foundation design, soil dynamics, and site evaluation for civil engineering projects.
