Beth Burton is a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Denver, Colorado. Beth received a B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) in 1999. After working for Phillips Petroleum Co. for one year, she returned to CSM and completed her M.S. in Geophysics in 2004. Beth began her career with the USGS in 2002 and has focused on the application of several methods including resistivity, seismic refraction and reflection, electromagnetics, magnetics, and GPR in solving problems at various scales.
