Gye-Chun Cho is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea. He is the vice-director of the KOCED Geotechnical Centrifuge Center. At present, he is also the executive director of the Korean Tunneling Association (KTA) and a KTA representative for the International Tunneling Association (ITA). Dr. Cho graduated from Korea University (B.Sc., 1994), and completed graduate studies at Korea University (M.Sc., 1996) and Georgia Institute of Technology (Ph.D., 2001).
