A paper’s abstract often is the first impression the paper makes on a potential reader or reviewer.

Abstracts are available for free in the SEG Library and in GeoScienceWorld. Abstracts of SEG papers also are sent via e-mail to subscribers who have requested to be notified when new content is published in the SEG Library. Abstracts also appear in abstracting services and may be posted to online social sharing sites.
