The authors have provided the results of their laboratory study on the use of sodium silicate–glyoxal mix for the grouting of silt, silty sand and fine sand. The test arrangement involved injecting a 104 mm long, laboratory prepared, sample within a mould consisting of a PPRC tube of 52 mm internal diameter.
