Abstract
Relatively small acidic plutono-volcanic bodies (possibly sub.volcanic ring-complexes) have intruded the basement complexes in Rondônia, western Brazil, 980 ± 20 m.y. ago. Important tin mineralizations are genetically connected with this magmatism. Structural relationships and chemical composition suggest that this magmatic event was of anorogenic nature.
