Abstract

Five stratigraphically dated granitic bodies in New Brunswick have a K-Ar age between 380 and 400 m.y. Four of the granites are post-Middle Silurian and pre-Pennsylvanian in age. The fifth granite body is post-Middle Silurian and pre-Late Devonian. This indicates a minimum age of 380 m.y. for Middle Silurian time in New Brunswick.
