Abstract

A set of observations of the relative gravitational force was made in the vicinity of and mostly north of Paricutin Volcano, State of Michoacan, Mexico. These data are given on a map, showing location and residual force for each observation, and contours of the force. No connection between the observed gravitational field and the volcano itself was found. A correlation between the observed force and the geology of the area is suggested.
