BIBLIOGRAPHIC AND FAUNAL INDEX OF PALEOZOIC PELMATOZOA

This index is in fulfillment of the promise made to the late Dr. Frank Springer that after his collection of fossil echinoderms in the Smithsonian Institution was placed in accepted museum form a bibliographic index of its more important sub-phylum, the Paleozoic Pelmatozoa, was to be prepared for publication to aid future students of the subject. As the exact stratigraphic position of many species has never been recorded, special efforts were made to obtain this information from specialists and by study of the types, the results of which are reflected in the faunal lists.
