Abstract

Session of Wednesday Morning, December 28

The Forty-fifth Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America was called to order in the Harvard Union, Cambridge, Massachusetts, at 10 a. m., by President R. A. Daly, who acted as Chairman. Secretary Charles P. Berkey kept a record of the proceedings.

The President announced that a quorum was present in person or represented by proxy, and that the meeting could proceed with the business to come before it. The Secretary then presented the report of the Council, including the reports of the officers, as follows:
