The Mineralogical Society of America held its twelfth annual meeting on December 29 and 30, 1931, in conjunction with the Geological Society of America, at the Mayo Hotel, Tulsa, Oklahoma, as guests of the Tulsa Geological Society and the American Association of Petroleum Geologists. On Tuesday, December 29, at 2 p.m., President A. H. Phillips called the regular annual meeting to order. On motion of the Secretary, the reading of the minutes of the last annual meeting was dispensed with, in view of the fact that they have been printed on pages 107–119 of volume 16, number 3, of the American Mineralogist.
