The Forty-fourth Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America was called to order in the Crystal Ballroom of the Mayo Hotel, Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 10 a.m., by President Lane.

The regular annual meeting of the Council was held at Toronto, Canada, in connection with the Annual Meeting of the Society, December 29–31, 1930. Special meetings of the Council also were held in New York City on April 18, 1931, and October 17, 1931.
