The Forty-third Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America was called to order in Room 22, Mining Building, of the University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, at 10:25 a. m., by President Pen‐rose.

Report of the Council

To the Geological Society of America, in forty-third annual meeting assembled:

The regular annual meeting of the Council was held at Washington, D. C., in connection with the Annual Meeting of the Society, December 26-28, 1929. Special meetings of the Council also were held in New York City on April 5, 1930, and October 11, 1930.
