Abstract

Session of Section E

Section E of the American Association for the Advancement of Science held a series of meetings in Nashville, Tennessee, December 27 and 28, 1927. The Chairman of Section E for the year 1927 was Charles Schuchert, who was also a Vice-President of the American Association. The retiring Chairman was George H. Ashley. His address was read at the joint dinner of Section E with the Association of American Geographers. This address, entitled “Geology and the world at large,” has been published elsewhere.1
