Abstract
No special meeting of the Society was scheduled for this day, and the members met in general session, with the Geological Society of America, in Sterling Laboratory, to hear the geological papers of general interest. In the evening our members listened to the address on “Geological climates” by Prof. Wm. B. Scott, the retiring President of the Geological Society of America. Following this address they participated in the complimentary smoker given by Yale University, in Byers Memorial Hall, to the Geological Society of America and its affiliated societies.
At 9 a. m. the Society met in joint session with the Geological Society of America for the reading of papers on stratigraphic geology.
