Abstract
The Thirty-eighth Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America was called to order in the Auditorium of Sterling Chemistry Laboratory, New Haven, Connecticut, at 9.05 a. m., by President Scott. Brief introductory remarks were made by the chairman, who called attention to the crowded condition of the program and asked cooperation in meeting the limited time schedule.

The regular annual meeting of the Council was held at Ithaca, New York, in connection with the meeting of the Society, December 29–31, 1924. A special meeting was also held in New York City on October 10, 1925.
