Kohn et al. (2001) presented P-T-t paths and ion microprobe Th- Pb monazite age data across the Main Central thrust zone along the Darondi River valley in central Nepal. Here, the structurally lowest garnets within the Main Central thrust zone grew with increasing P and T (loading), whereas structurally higher garnets grew with increasing T but decreasing P (exhumation).
