Three exposure areas displaying various ductile and brittledeformation fabrics in the Bloody Bluff fault zone are locatedwithin the Concord 7½-minute Quadrangle of eastern Massachusetts (Figs. 1 and 2). Stops 1 and 2 are in Lexington, and the rocksunderlying Stop 1 forma prominent exposure on the west side off-95, 0.76 mi (1.2 km) north of its intersection with Massachusetts 2 A (interchange 45). Stop 2 includes two reek exposureswest of I-95 near interchange 45; the principal exposure is along Massachusetts Avenue on Fisk Hill, and the other is along anaccess road that leads to a highway maintenance storage area.
