Abstract
The field trip will traverse the highly asymmetrical Front Range to examine the west flank's major Laramide thrusts, subsequent volcanic rocks and normal faults, as well as the east flank's higher-angle thrust and reverse faults and their associated fault-propagation folds. Laramide to Holocene tectonics will be debated on the outcrop and during our evening soak at Hot Sulphur Springs.
