Biodiversity of the ‘principal’ horizons or localities of the Algal Dolomite member of the Svanbergfjellet Formation. (a) Microfossils documented from samples (excluding unclassified filamentous objects); red border reflects that this sample includes smaller specimens that we tentatively assign to Trachyhystrichosphaera polaris, as well as confirmed specimens of this taxon (see discussion in the Supplementary material). (b) The number of taxa shared between the horizons or localities (i.e. that occur in more than one horizon or locality) v. taxa that are unique to individual ‘principal’ horizons. Unique eukaryotic taxa are highlighted. IS, incertae sedis.
