(A) Compilation of ages of tin (Sn) deposits, Pb-Zn deposits, and Cu deposits in the Sanjiang Tethys of Yunnan, China, in the tectonic framework of the Himalayan orogeny (modified after Chung et al., 2005). Numerical values on the upper part of Figure 5A represent both the rate of convergence (mm/yr) and the angle of convergence (degrees from north). Defined domain for delamination-related potassic magmas in western Yunnan is from the age compilations by Lu et al. (2013) and Wang et al. (2019). Age sources for the Pb-Zn deposits: (1, Jingding)—Yalikun et al. (2018); (2, Baiyangpin)—Wang et al. (2016); (3, 4, Laochang)—Deng et al. (2016b). Ages sources for the Cu deposits: (1, Tongchang)—Xu et al. (2012a); (2, Chang’anchong)—Xu et al. (2012a); (3, Machangqing)—Xu et al. (2012a); (4, Habo)—Xu et al. (2012a); (5, Beiya)—He et al. (2013); (6, Liancheng)—Zhang et al. (2013); (7, Jinman)—Zhang et al. (2013). Ages sources for the Sn deposits: (1, Yunling)—this study; (2, Amo)—Zhao and Tang (1991); (3, Tiechang)—Zhen et al. (2021); (4, 5, Lailishan)—Chen et al. (2014) and Cao et al. (2017b); (6, Xinqi)—Zhou et al. (2017); (7, Xiaolonghe)—Chen et al. (2014); (8, Dasongpo)—Ma et al. (2013); (9, 10, Songshan)—Zhu et al. (2021). (B) Geographic distribution of the various mineral systems shown in Figure 5A. Cal—calcite; Cst—cassiterite; Mlb—molybdenite; Ms—muscovite; Py—pyrite; Tai—tainiolite.
