Generalized stratigraphy of the Bylot basins. The Fury and Hecla Group sections for the Melville Peninsula and Baffin Island are modified from Greenman et al. (2020; measured section WG1901) and Chandler (1988), respectively, and the geochronology from Greenman et al. (2021). The Aston and Hunting formations section is from Tuke et al. (1966). The Bylot Supergroup section and geochronology are from Gibson et al. (2018). The Thule Supergroup sections are from Dawes (1997). The timing of deposition within each basin is inferred to be bracketed by the 1.27 Ga Mackenzie (Fahrig et al. 1981; LeCheminant and Heaman 1989, 1991) and 0.72 Ga Franklin (Heaman et al. 1992; Denyszyn et al. 2009) igneous events.
