Summary of rock units exposed in Joggins coastal section, northwestern Nova Scotia and in the Maringouin Peninsula, southeastern New Brunswick. The age assignments here are those given by previous workers. The informal Chignecto Bay Member of the lowest Boss Point Formation is recognized in southeastern New Brunswick. Equivalent strata in Nova Scotia are not given member status. Rock units shown in lower case (Enragé and Maringouin formations) are located in New Brunswick.
