S-C fabrics in HHC. (a) The sigmoidal S-surfaces are deflected near the C-surfaces in the garnet –kyanite schist near Hirgo. The angle between S and C is ~21°. The sense of shear is top-to-ESE. (b) Intensely sheared mylonitic granite near Pene. The late extensional C′ -plane also further deflects the S –surfaces. (c) The C -plane deflecting S-surface in quartz-biotite schist near Menchuka (d) The sub-horizontal C-planes making acute angle with S-surfaces near Yapik village. The sense of shear is top-to-ESE.
