... and thick-walled, or globose or sack-shaped, such as Ascospongiella or Estrellaspongia , both described by García-Bellido Capdevila and Rigby, 2004 . Trailospongia does not have large parietal openings through its wall, like many genera in the family, but it does have scattered small radial canals...
