... mineralization, as exemplified by the Bozymchak Cu-Au skarn deposit in the Chatkal-Kurama arc of Kyrgyzstan, West Tianshan. The Bozymchak intrusion associated with the mineralization comprises monzonite porphyry and granodiorite porphyry. A sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe zircon U-Pb age of 305 ± 2 Ma...

Schematic diagram illustrating the generation and evolution of the Bozymchak intrusions in Kyrgyzstan, West Tianshan, involving magma generation, hybridization, and mineralization. Note that the injection of hot mafic magma into the chamber is recorded by compositional and textural evolution of plagioclase, amphibole, and apatite crystals. MASH—melting, assimilation, storage, and homogenization.

Diagrams showing (A) εNd(t) versus age, (B) εNd(t) versus ISr, (C) ISr versus SiO2, and (D) εNd(t) versus SiO2 for the Bozymchak intrusions of Kyrgyzstan, West Tianshan. Fields for the basement rocks (amphibolite and granitic gneiss) of the Altay, Junggar, and Tianshan regions are after Long et al. (2012). Depleted mantle and lower crust mixing curves were constructed using the following end-member parameters. A basaltic lava sample from the Bayingou ophiolite (011B75; Xu et al., 2006): εNd(t) = 8.69, ISr = 0.70410, Sr = 127 ppm, Nd = 10.7 ppm. Neoproterozoic (ca. 707 Ma) granitoid genesis sample 966007 from Chen et al. (2000) recalculated to 305 Ma prior to modeling: εNd(t) = −11.1, ISr = 0.71339, Sr = 97.16 ppm, Nd = 36.61 ppm. Upper continental crust (Taylor and McLennan, 1985): εNd(t) = −10, ISr = 0.72, Sr = 350 ppm, Nd = 26 ppm. CHUR—chondritic uniform reservoir.
