Abstract
The Canadian SEG recently completed two industry surveys. The first determined the number of people employed in the Canadian resource exploration industry and its related expenditures. The second survey was designed to determine the impact on the petroleum industry of recent tax and royalty actions culminating in the May 6, 1974 government budget proposals.
