Abstract

Herschelite, defined as a Na-rich zeolite with the chabazite structure, has been studied with optical and scanning electron microscopy, powder XRD and electron-microprobe analysis. The texture of herschelites from three localities and the origin of optical sectors and twinning are discussed.
