Abstract
Ten new oil pool discoveries plus continued successful hydraulic-fracture results in the Clinton sand caused an appreciable increase in the number of new wells completed and in the total oil produced. Gas discoveries in Cuyahoga, Guernsey, and Tuscarawas counties rejuvenated, at least temporarily, the decline in gas production which has been evident for a number of years. No outstanding geological tests were made and exploratory drilling was only moderately successful.
