Some new occurrences of 'Lagena'-x in Germany
Micropaleontology (1967) 13 (1): 115-116

The problematic microfossil 'Lagena'-x is recorded from a very sandy marine middle Oligocene marl (Schleichsand) near Mainz and from coarse upper Oligocene green sand of Kassel, Germany. In spite of many finds of this fossil in Europe and the Far East, nothing is yet known about the function or the systematic position of 'Lagena'-x.
