Some Cenomanian foraminifera from northwestern Libya

Thomasinella punica, Buccicrenata libyca n.sp., and Praealveolina cretacea tenuis from the lower Cenomanian (Cretaceous) Ain Tobi formation of the Kussabat area, northwest Libya, are described. Data on the stratigraphy of the section exposed along the Homs-Kussabat road are included.
