Abstract
A process of developing a breccia from evaporite rocks by simultaneous solution, subsidence, and evaporite flowage is described. The breccias studied come from cores from the Upper Devonian Leduc Formation, Alberta, Canada, and are dolomite clasts in a matrix of dolomite or anhydrite.
