Abstract
Contrary to recently published conclusions by Nagy and Faust (1956) and Kalousek and Muttart (1957), which recognize serpentines to be made up of only two components, chrysotile and antigorite, there are three components that actually exist, the third being lizardite, which is distinguished by x-ray diffraction.
