Abstract
Outlines the geologic setting of dams, reservoirs, and other engineering structures of the Kaprun valley power plant in the glaciated metamorphic terrain of the northern Hohe Tauern, Austria. Deformed Triassic? calc-mica schist is the principal rock type at the various sites.
