Abstract
In view of phase equilibrium studies in the system NaAlSiO (sub 4) -KAlSiO (sub 4) - SiO (sub 2) , a reassessment of the leucite-nepheline dolerite of Meiches, in the Vogelsberg, Germany, which carries the three phases, leucite, nepheline, and sanidine, is in order. New analyses of the rock, and its constituent nepheline and sanidine, have been made and are plotted. The sequence of crystallization is accessories, titanaugite, and nepheline first, leucite, and finally sanidine.
