Aerial photographs in structural mapping of sedimentary formations

Abstract

Factors that control the use of aerial photographs in structural mapping are discussed; the anticipated horizontal and vertical photogrammetric precision is indicated; and geomorphic and structural relationships are correlated with photogrammetric procedures that most economically produce structural maps of various tolerances.
