Geological Magazine (1948) 80 (5): 297-304

Abstract

Describes particularly blocks in the Flysch (Tertiary) of the Habkerenthal, Switzerland, and also other metamorphic phenomena such as broken and recemented rocks, of very similar nature in the two regions. The West Indies are apparently mountains of Alpine or Pyrenean character in the process of emerging from the sea at present.
