Abstract

The major petroleum production in Poland is from Oligocene beds in complicated overthrust structures; in Rumania, from Pliocene beds in the Ploesti district; in the Transylvanian fields, from Miocene beds on anticlinal structures; and in Hungary, from normal anticlines of lower Pliocene beds.
