The crystal structure of sabelliite, ideally (Cu,Zn) (sub 2) Zn[As,Sb)O (sub 4) ](OH) (sub 3) , has been refined to R 0.046, with space group P<$E 3 back 40 up 40 ->, a 8.197, c 7.312 Aa. The structure consists of dense edge-sharing (Cu,Zn)-octahedral sheets, connected to each other by As tetrahedra, Zn tetrahedra, mixed (As + Sb) polyhedra and H bridges. All the cation sites located on and around the three-fold inversion axis are partially occupied. Structural similarities with spangolite are discussed, as well as possible relationships with theisite, namuwite and schulenbergite.
