Natural and synthetic selenites and selenates and their Gladstone-Dale compatibility
European Journal of Mineralogy (June 1994) 6 (3): 337-349

Abstract

The Gladstone-Dale equations were applied to the natural selenites and selenates to determine the compatibility of the optical, density and compositional data. On the basis of the results, a re- examination of marthozite is recommended. The minimally described 'kerstenite' should be properly characterized.
