Abstract

The development of a geotechnical data handling, storage and presentation program is described. The system has demonstrated its capability on a major ground investigation contract and is currently being further developed to enhance its capabilities. Use of the system will reduce the time spent by relatively expensive engineering staff on routine plotting tasks and allow them to use large data sets more fully prior to selection of design parameters.
