Abstract
This new phase, synthesized by solid-state reaction, has a 12.519, b 12.959, c 6.575 Angstrom, beta 115.17 degrees, space group C2/c. The combined result of X-ray Rietveld refinement and vibrational spectroscopy (IR and Raman) confirm the cation distribution Na (super +) in X1, X2 empty, Cd (super 2+) in M1 and In (super 3+) in M2, leading to the structural formula box NaCdIn (sub 2) (PO (sub 4) ) (sub 3) .
