Abstract

In the course of a TEM-AEM study of exsolution microstructures in coexisting amphiboles from New England blueschists, a five- amphibole assemblage has been identified. It consists of glaucophane, cummingtonite, winchite, actinolite and hornblende existing in a single composite grain.
