Fluid inclusions related to uranium deposits; a review
Journal of the Geological Society of London (January 1988) 145 (1): 157-162

Abstract

Fluid inclusions have been observed and studied in rocks of most types of U deposits except surficial ones. Most deposits were formed at T of 90-250 degrees C and it is clear that ore-forming processes occurred at deeper levels than previously thought. Fluid chemistry ranges from almost pure H (sub 2) O to very dense brines, and CO (sub 2) is a common component. In some cases gas analysis allows determination of the fluid fO (sub 2) .
